Main St. Emporium, owned and operated by Artists Don and Shirle
Burrous, offers a unique assortment of hand-crafted items, all
one-of-a-kind and made locally.
Wall Art ranges from desert wild life
forms of quail and roadrunners, burros and horses, lizards and birds
to cactus scenes, flowers and chili peppers. The western fan can find
boots, steer heads and rope art. Stars, moons and suns join palm trees
and dolphins.

A favorite symbol of the southwest is
the Kokopelli which the shop offers a variety of sizes, colors and
finishes.
New items are constantly being added
and no two are ever exactly alike. These two highly creative talents
have added even more personality to the shop with decorative mirrors
and wall clocks.
The store also features several
varieties of collectible items such as laser-etched 3D crystal cubes,
vintage reproduction tin toys... wind up and friction, many to choose
from, ceramic dolphins, turtles and other wildlife. A new line of
India imports such as gramophones, telephones and other brass decor
are filling
the
shelves.
Many styles of hand-woven
southwestern design blankets, rugs, placemats, coasters, handbags and
tote bags have also been added.
A walk through the beaded curtains
reveals the Candlehouse where candles of many scents and colors are
being made while you watch. Featured is the cholla cactus candle...
poured in the dried pieces of cholla cactus. These candles are
designed to be refillable by inserting votive candle in the hole
that's left.
